Beantown Bounce Volleyball Academy is proud to announce its 10th Annual Volleyball Clinic at Newton South HS. This is an opportunity for players to develop and refine their skills before the beginning of their high school and club volleyball seasons. The clinic will include sessions that focus on refining skill progressions, extension of tasks, technique, strategy, dynamic functional training, nutrition, and sport specific training. 


The Academy sold out last year, with participants from as far away as Canada, Texas, New York, California and Illinois.

Meet our Coaching Staff:


Todd Elwell:  

Head Coach, MIT Men’s Volleyball team, a perennial Top 15 team in the country for DIII. Most recently, Todd coached the Boys’ 17 Elite team and top Girls’ 18’s team with Beantown VBC. Coach Elwell was the Head Coach of the Boys and Girls Varsity teams at Newton South High School.  Coach Elwell was Boston Globe Coach of the Year for the Boy’s High School in 2009 guiding Newton South to the South Sectional Finals.  He again reached the sectional finals with his Boys team in 2010 and in 2014 his team was MA State Volleyball Champions.  Coach Elwell has experienced success with his girls’ team at Newton South winning the MIAA South Sectional Championship in 2008.  Coach Elwell was recently appointed into the MGVCA Coaches Hall of Fame.


Peter Suxho:  

Head Coach of Beantown VBC – currently coaching the 18’s Black team for Boys and the 16’s ELITE team for Girls.  Current Head Coach at Natick HS for the Boys and Girls and Former Head Coach of the Men’s National Team of Albania.  Coach Suxho has experienced great success winning Boy’s MA State Championships at Millis HS and Natick HS.  He coached his son Donald who went on to be an All-American at USC and played in 3 Olympic Games as the Setter of the US National team.


Bob Kowal:  

Former Head Men’s Volleyball Coach at Nipissing University, North Bay, Ontario and Canadore College also in North Bay, Ontario, recent recipient of Canadian National Aboriginal Coach of the Year.  Former Head Coach of the Boys’ Volleyball team at St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Kenora, Ontario where they achieved several medals in the OFSSA Championships.  Coach Kowal has also coached the Boys for Region 1 Volleyball in the Ontario Games.
